Configure DLT Credentials in TechTO Networks Messaging Application

Complete step-by-step guide to add Entity IDs, Sender IDs, and message templates in your TechTO account. Learn how to send TRAI-compliant SMS via web panel and API integration with proper DLT configuration.

Why DLT Configuration in TechTO Panel Matters ?

After obtaining DLT approvals from TRAI's blockchain portal, the next critical step is configuring these credentials in your TechTO Networks SMS panel. This integration bridges your DLT-approved parameters with TechTO's powerful delivery infrastructure, enabling you to send fully compliant bulk SMS campaigns in India.

Without proper configuration in the TechTO panel, even with DLT approvals, your messages cannot be delivered. This guide walks you through every step—from initial login to sending your first compliant SMS message through both web interface and API methods.

What You'll Accomplish ?

1

Register your TechTO account

2

Add Entity and Sender IDs

3

Configure Templates

4

Send  Approved Compliant SMS

Prerequisites: What You Need Before Starting

Before configuring your TechTO panel, ensure you have completed the following DLT registration steps:

✅   DLT Portal Registration

Your business must be registered as a Principal Entity (PE) on any DLT portal (Jio, Airtel, Vi, or BSNL).

📋 Entity ID (PE ID)

Note down your unique Principal Entity ID from the DLT portal—typically a 19-digit numeric code.

📧 Approved Sender IDs

Have at least one DLT-approved Header ID (6-character sender name) ready with its approval status.

📝 Template IDs

Collect all your approved message template IDs from the DLT portal along with their exact content.

🔗 PE-TM Chain

Ensure TechTO Networks (Telemarketer) is linked to your PE account on the DLT portal.

💳 TechTO Account

Active TechTO Networks account with sufficient credits to send test and live messages.

💡

Pro Tip:

Keep all your DLT credentials organized in a spreadsheet with Entity ID, Sender IDs, Template IDs, and template content. This makes the configuration process much faster and reduces errors.

Step-by-Step DLT Configuration in TechTO Panel

STEP - 1

Register and Access Your TechTO Networks Account

If you're new to TechTO Networks, start by creating your account. Existing users can directly log in to the dashboard.

  • Visit www.techtonetworks.com and click on "Sign Up" or "Register"

  • Fill in your business details: Company name, contact person, email, and mobile number

  • Verify your email address and mobile number through OTP verification

  • Once verified, log in to your TechTO Networks dashboard using your credentials

  • Navigate to the main dashboard where you'll see options for SMS, DLT Configuration, Reports, and Settings

✓ Account Ready:

After successful login, you'll land on the main dashboard. Look for the "DLT Configuration" or "DLT Settings" menu option—this is where all configuration happens.

STEP - 2

Add Your Entity ID (Principal Entity ID)

The Entity ID is your business's unique identifier in the DLT ecosystem. This must be configured first as all Sender IDs will be associated with it.

  • From the dashboard, click on "DLT Configuration" or "Manage DLT"

  • Select "Add Entity ID" or "Entity Management"

  • Enter your 19-digit Principal Entity ID exactly as shown in your DLT portal

  • Provide the entity name (your registered business name)

  • Select the DLT portal where you're registered (Jio, Airtel, Vi, BSNL)

  • Save the entity details

⚠️ Important:

Double-check your Entity ID before saving. An incorrect Entity ID will prevent all subsequent configurations from working. The ID is case-sensitive and must match exactly with your DLT portal

STEP - 3

Add and Associate Sender IDs (Header IDs)

Sender IDs are the 6-character names that appear as the sender of your SMS. Each Sender ID must be linked to your Entity ID in the TechTO panel.

  • Navigate to "Sender ID Management" or "Add Sender ID" section

  • Click on "Add New Sender ID"

  • Enter your DLT-approved 6-character Header ID (e.g., "TXTMSG", "SHOPNM")

  • Critical: Associate this Sender ID with the Entity ID you added in Step 2

  • Select the message category: Promotional, Transactional, Service Explicit, or Service Implicit

  • Enter the approval date and any reference numbers from the DLT portal

  • Save the Sender ID configuration

📌 Entity-Sender Association:

The association between Entity ID and Sender ID is mandatory. This proves that your business (Entity) owns and is authorized to use this particular Sender ID. Without this link, SMS delivery will fail. Repeat this process for all your approved Sender IDs. You can add multiple Sender IDs under the same Entity ID.

STEP - 4

Add DLT-Approved Message Templates

Templates define the exact content structure of messages you can send. Each template from your DLT portal must be added to TechTO with its unique Template ID.

  • Go to "Template Management" or "Add Templates" section

  • Click "Add New Template"

  • Enter the Template ID from your DLT portal (usually a numeric or alphanumeric code)

  • Copy and paste the exact template content from DLT portal, including variable placeholders

  • Select the appropriate template category (Promotional, Transactional, etc.)

  • Associate the template with the relevant Sender ID (from Step 3)

  • Mark the variable fields (if any) like {#var#} for customer name, OTP, etc.

✓ Account Ready:

After successful login, you'll land on the main dashboard. Look for the "DLT Configuration" or "DLT Settings" menu option—this is where all configuration happens.
