Unlike traditional SMS campaigns that require contact list uploads, group creation, or database mapping, Simple SMS Broadcast focuses on speed and convenience. It’s designed for one-time, quick, high-volume messaging—ideal for last-minute alerts or spontaneous campaigns.

3. Can I upload a file instead of pasting numbers?

Yes! Users can upload contact lists in CSV or XLS format. This is perfect if you already maintain customer data in Excel or if you’re running a planned campaign using saved lists.

 

4. What kind of file formats are supported?

TechTo supports file uploads in .csv and .xls formats. Each file should include a valid column of mobile numbers. You can optionally include custom fields if your template includes variables (e.g., name, amount).

 

5. Is there a limit to how many contacts I can paste or upload?

No hard limit exists on the number of contacts you can paste or upload. However, depending on your browser memory or internet speed, extremely large pastes might slow down. For massive campaigns, we recommend uploading a file.

 

6. How does DLT compliance work with this feature?

Simple SMS Broadcast fully supports DLT compliance. You can select your pre-approved template and sender ID directly from your account. The system validates entries before sending, ensuring smooth compliance with TRAI regulations.

 

7. What are the message routes available?

You can send messages using Promotional, Transactional, or Service routes depending on your use case. The route can be selected during the campaign setup step.

 

8. Can I track the delivery status of every SMS?

Yes. Every number sent through Simple SMS Broadcast is logged with real-time delivery status including:

  • Submission Time

  • Delivery Time

  • Delivery Status (Delivered, Pending, Failed) This data is shown in the Sent Items tab and can be downloaded.

 

9. Is this feature available for all TechTo customers?

Yes, Simple SMS Broadcast is available for all registered customers. Trial users can also access it with a limited credit balance. You can upgrade at any time to unlock full sending limits.

 

10. Can I use this for personalized messages?

If you're uploading a CSV with custom variables (e.g., name, balance), and you have a corresponding template with variables mapped, you can personalize each message dynamically using the file upload option.

 

11. Is any technical knowledge required to use this?

Not at all. The interface is extremely user-friendly. If you know how to copy-paste numbers or upload a file, you’re good to go. The system guides you step by step.

 

12. What happens if there’s an invalid number in my list?

TechTo automatically filters out incorrectly formatted numbers and displays a warning message. These are skipped during sending, ensuring your credits are only used on valid deliveries.

 

13. Are there templates provided or do I have to create one?

You can create and save DLT-approved templates in advance. During broadcast, you simply select from your approved list. Need help with DLT templates? We have a dedicated onboarding team to assist.

 

14. Can I save a campaign and reuse it?

Currently, Simple SMS Broadcast is optimized for quick, one-time sends. However, advanced users can copy a previous file or re-paste a list from Sent Items and rerun campaigns easily.

 

15. How fast are the messages delivered?

Messages are usually delivered within seconds, depending on route priority and carrier availability. Transactional and service routes are the fastest.

 

16. Do I get delivery receipts or downloadable reports?

Yes. Delivery receipts are updated in real-time and available under the Sent Items section. You can export a complete report with all timestamps and delivery statuses.

Security is a top priority. All data is encrypted in transit. Uploaded files are never stored permanently and are auto-deleted after processing. We are GDPR and TRAI compliant.
