Affordable Bulk SMS Service in Bangalore for Small Businesses — Start Sending in Under an Hour

Let's be direct about what you actually need from a bulk SMS service as a small business owner in Bangalore.

You need it to work. You need it to be affordable. You need to set it up without calling a "technical person." And you need it to reach your customers reliably — the restaurant customer in Koramangala, the gym member in BTM Layout, the real estate lead in Whitefield — without messages disappearing into DND blackholes or getting blocked by TRAI for compliance reasons you didn't even know existed.

TechTo Networks has built exactly that: the simplest, most affordable, and most reliable bulk SMS service for small businesses and startups in Bangalore. No annual contracts. No minimum commitment. No technical background required. Credits that never expire. And a support team that answers in real language, not technical jargon.

This page tells you everything — how it works, what it costs, which Bangalore businesses are using it, how to set it up today, and why cheap SMS isn't always the same as affordable SMS (there's an important difference).

Why Small Businesses in Bangalore Are Turning to Bulk SMS in 2026

Before we get into the how, let's be honest about the why. You're probably here because either (a) email marketing isn't working the way it used to, (b) your WhatsApp messages are getting ignored or your personal number is being flooded, (c) a competitor started sending SMS offers and you're wondering if you should too, or (d) someone told you about bulk SMS but you weren't sure if it's worth it.

The data is clear on this. SMS open rates in India sit between 90–98%, compared to 15–25% for email. A message sent at 11 AM lands in the customer's pocket and gets read within 3 minutes in 90% of cases. There's no algorithm deciding whether your message gets shown. No spam folder. No "mark as promotional" tab. Just a message and a customer.

For small businesses in Bangalore specifically, SMS has three advantages that are hard to replicate through any other channel:

It reaches everyone. Bangalore has some of the highest smartphone penetration in India, but your customer base is diverse. Your restaurant's delivery customer on Swiggy may use an iPhone. Your walk-in customer who paid cash uses a ₹3,000 basic Android. SMS works for both, equally.

It works without internet. Bangalore's network can be inconsistent — especially during peak hours near Electronic City or in the outer ring areas. SMS works over cellular voice networks, so even a customer with one bar of signal gets your message.

It's instant and time-sensitive. Sending a "Lunch Special: 20% off between 12–2 PM today" WhatsApp broadcast at noon requires your customer to have the app open. An SMS arrives whether the app is open or not, making it far more effective for time-triggered promotions.

What Does Bulk SMS Actually Cost for a Bangalore Small Business?

The Real Cost of "Cheap" SMS — What to Watch For

Bulk SMS pricing in India is full of gotchas that turn a ₹0.08 quote into an effective ₹0.20+ cost. Here are the most common ones — and how TechTo handles each:

Gotcha 1: Rates quoted "before GST." Most Indian providers quote ex-GST. At 18% GST, a ₹0.10 rate becomes ₹0.118 effective. TechTo quotes rates inclusive of GST. What you see is what you pay.

Gotcha 2: DLT setup charged separately. Getting your business registered on TRAI's DLT platform is mandatory before you can send any commercial SMS. Some providers charge ₹1,000–2,000 for this. TechTo includes onboarding support for DLT registration at no extra charge.

Gotcha 3: Promotional vs transactional pricing not disclosed. Transactional SMS (alerts, OTPs, notifications) costs more than promotional SMS (offers, campaigns). Some providers advertise their promotional rate but charge transactional rates for your actual usage. TechTo shows both rates clearly upfront.

Gotcha 4: Credit expiry. Credits that expire in 90 or 180 days create artificial urgency. Small businesses don't always have a predictable SMS cadence. TechTo's credits never expire.

Gotcha 5: Minimum send quantity. Some platforms require you to send at least 1,000 SMS at a time. TechTo has no minimum — send 1 if you want to test.

How to Get Started — Step-by-Step (No Technical Knowledge Needed)

Getting your first bulk SMS campaign live in Bangalore takes less than an hour. Here's exactly how:

Step 1: Create Your Free Account (5 minutes)

Go to techtonetworks.com and click "Start Free." Enter your business email, mobile number, and business name. Verify your mobile number with an OTP. Your account is active instantly — no waiting for approval, no document submission required to start.

Your account starts with 100 free test credits so you can send real test messages to your own phone number before any purchase.

Step 2: Complete DLT Registration (We Help You — Takes 2–3 Days)

This is the only step that isn't instant, and it's not because of anything we control — TRAI's DLT platform is a government system that takes 1–3 business days to approve registrations.

What you need to provide:

  • Your business name (exactly as registered)

  • GST number (even a composition scheme GST number works)

  • PAN of the business or proprietor

  • The 6-character sender ID you want (e.g., MYSHOP, RSTONE, FITNES, BAKERS — must be business-relevant)

What we handle:

  • Submitting the registration on TRAI's DLT platform on your behalf

  • Registering your initial message templates (you tell us what you want to send, we format and submit them)

  • Notifying you when everything is approved

  • Guiding you through any re-submission if TRAI returns a query

While DLT registration is processing, you can still use TechTo's sandbox mode to practice building campaigns, importing contacts, and scheduling sends. By the time DLT is approved, you'll know the panel inside out.

Step 3: Import Your Customer List (10 minutes)

Your customer contacts go into TechTo via a simple Excel or CSV file. The minimum requirement is a column of 10-digit mobile numbers. You can also include name, city, or any other field — which allows you to send personalised messages ("Hi Suresh, your membership expires on 15 June").

How to prepare your contact list:

  1. Open your existing customer list — whether it's an Excel file, a Google Sheet, your CRM export, or even a WhatsApp group member export

  2. Copy the mobile numbers into a column

  3. Make sure numbers are in 10-digit format (not 91XXXXXXXXXX — TechTo handles the country code automatically)

  4. Remove any duplicates (TechTo also auto-deduplicates on import, but cleaner input is better)

  5. Save as .xlsx or .csv

Upload the file in the TechTo panel under Contacts → Import. The system validates each number and flags invalid entries. You can review and fix flagged numbers before finalizing the import.

Organizing contacts into groups:

After import, tag your contacts into groups — "Loyal Customers", "New Walk-ins June 2026", "Leads from Exhibition", "Corporate Clients", "Lapsed Members." Groups make it easy to target specific segments without creating separate contact lists every time.

Step 4: Create Your First SMS Campaign (15 minutes)

Go to Campaigns → New Campaign and follow the flow:

Campaign name: Internal label for your reference (customers never see this). Example: "June Monsoon Sale Alert"

Choose recipients: Select your contact group, upload a new list for this campaign, or manually enter numbers.

Select sender ID: Choose from your approved sender IDs. This is the name your customers will see in their SMS inbox.

Write your message: Keep it under 160 characters for a single SMS. Include: what the offer is, what they need to do, and optionally a deadline or link. Example:

"Raju's Kitchen, Koramangala: Monsoon Special — Buy 1 Biriyani Get 1 Free. Today only, 6–9 PM. Show this SMS at counter. 080-12345678"

Schedule or send immediately: Send now or pick a future date and time. For promotional messages, the delivery window is 9 AM – 9 PM as per TRAI. TechTo will warn you if you're scheduling outside compliant hours.

Review and send: Preview the message exactly as it will appear on a customer's phone. Hit Send. Done.

Step 5: Check Your Delivery Report (5 minutes after sending)

Under Reports → Campaign Reports, see:

  • Total sent

  • Delivered successfully (%)

  • Failed — with reason (invalid number, DND blocked, etc.)

  • Pending (messages still in carrier queue)

Download the report as Excel if you want to follow up with undelivered contacts through other channels.

Bulk SMS Use Cases for Every Type of Bangalore Small Business

Restaurants, Cafés, and Cloud Kitchens (Koramangala, Indiranagar, Jayanagar)

Bangalore's food scene is intensely competitive. Restaurants on every corner fight for repeat visits. SMS is one of the most cost-effective tools for driving repeat business.

Weekly specials and new dishes: Send a brief "New this week at [Your Restaurant]" message every Monday morning to your customer list. Cost: ₹5 for 50 customers (roughly one meal's profit). Return: even 3–4 additional table reservations pays back 50x.

Table booking confirmation and reminders: When a customer books via phone or your website, an auto-confirmed SMS goes out immediately with booking details. A reminder SMS 2 hours before reduces no-shows by 30–40%.

Flash promotions during slow hours: Tuesday afternoons, rainy weekday evenings — these are when restaurants lose money on idle staff and wasted prep. A "Monsoon special: 20% off today 3–6 PM" SMS to your customer list at 2:30 PM can turn a dead afternoon into a productive one.

Loyalty and appreciation messages: "You've visited us 10 times! Here's a complimentary dessert on your next visit." Sent to customers who've hit a milestone (tracked in your CRM or even a simple spreadsheet). These messages cost ₹0.10 and create loyalty worth hundreds of times that.

Delivery order updates: If you operate a cloud kitchen on Swiggy or Zomato in addition to in-house, integrate TechTo's API with your order management to send "Your order is being prepared / is on its way" updates directly — without paying Swiggy's customer communication fees.

Gyms, Fitness Studios, and Yoga Centres (BTM, HSR, Marathahalli)

Fitness businesses live and die by membership renewal rates. SMS directly addresses the biggest revenue leakage point: the member who forgets to renew.

Membership expiry reminders: Automated sequence — "Your membership expires in 7 days. Renew now at [link] or visit the front desk." Follow-up 3 days before. Final nudge on expiry day. This three-touch sequence, fully automated in TechTo, typically recovers 20–35% of at-risk renewals.

Batch schedule changes: When a trainer calls in sick or a class shifts by 30 minutes, SMS is the fastest way to notify 50 members. An email gets opened hours later. A WhatsApp message might be ignored. SMS arrives in seconds.

New trainer or class announcements: "Introducing Zumba with Kavitha! Saturday 7 AM batch starting June 1. Register at the front desk." Sent to your full member list — takes 2 minutes to set up.

Festive and seasonal offers: Navratri package, New Year membership deal, summer fitness challenge sign-up. Time-bound offers drive urgency that flat-rate membership pitches don't.

Attendance and no-show follow-ups: When a member hasn't visited in 2 weeks, a personal-feeling SMS ("Hi Arun, haven't seen you in the gym this week! Your trainer asks how you're doing.") has a dramatically higher re-engagement rate than a generic promotional email.

Retail Stores, Boutiques, and Fashion Shops (Malleshwaram, Commercial Street, Chickpet)

Retail in Bangalore faces aggressive competition from e-commerce. SMS gives physical stores something Amazon cannot: immediacy, personality, and a direct line to your local customer.

New collection and stock arrivals: "New summer kurtis just in at Priya Collections, Malleshwaram! Sizes 32–44. Visit us today or call 98XXXXXXXX to hold a piece."

Festive sale announcements: Dasara, Diwali, Ugadi, Christmas — Bangalore's retail calendar is busy. A sale announcement SMS three days before the event, a reminder on day one, and a "last day" message on day three is a proven three-touch campaign that costs under ₹1 per customer for the entire sequence.

Loyalty birthday offers: "Happy Birthday, Shwetha! Visit Priya Collections this week and enjoy 15% off as our birthday gift to you. Valid till [date]." Automated, personal, and genuinely appreciated.

Pre-launch VIP access: "Exclusive preview for our loyal customers — new collection arrives tomorrow. Come see it first at 10 AM before we open to the public." Creates belonging and drives foot traffic before you advertise publicly.

Restock alerts: "The blue cotton saree you enquired about is back in stock at Priya Collections. Limited pieces — call 98XXXXXXXX."

Real Estate Agents and Developers (Whitefield, Sarjapur, Yelahanka)

Real estate in Bangalore's expanding corridors is a hypercompetitive market. Lead response time is everything — research shows a lead contacted within 5 minutes is 9x more likely to convert than one contacted after 30 minutes. SMS is the fastest response channel.

Immediate lead response: When a lead comes in from MagicBricks or 99acres, an automated SMS goes out within 60 seconds: "Hi [Name], thank you for your interest in [Project]. I'm [Agent], and I'll call you in the next 15 minutes. Quick question — are you looking to invest or self-use? Reply 1 for Invest, 2 for Own Use." This immediate touchpoint sets a professional tone and starts qualifying before the call.

Site visit reminders: "Reminder: Your site visit to [Project Name] in Sarjapur is confirmed for Saturday, 10 AM. Address: [Google Maps link]. See you there! - [Agent Name]" Reduces no-shows dramatically.

New project launch alerts: When you're launching a new project or have received fresh inventory, your entire database of interested leads gets an SMS instantly — before your competitors' agents even wake up.

EMI and pricing calculator links: "Based on your ₹50 lakh budget, monthly EMI for [Project] is ₹38,200 at current rates. Details: [link]" Personalised to the lead's stated budget, created manually or from a simple template.

Document reminder sequences: "Hi [Client Name], your home loan process is pending [document name]. Please share at your earliest to avoid processing delays." Reduces the back-and-forth that kills deals at the documentation stage.

Coaching Centres, Tuition Classes, and Schools (Rajajinagar, JP Nagar, Vijayanagar)

Education institutes in Bangalore operate on tight trust relationships with parents. SMS is the most reliable channel for time-sensitive school communications.

Fee due reminders: "Dear Parent, this is a reminder that the term fee for [Student Name] is due by [Date]. Amount: ₹[Amount]. Pay online: [link] or visit the office. Thank you." Automate this to run 10 days, 5 days, and 1 day before the due date. Most institutes see payment defaults drop by 30–50%.

Exam and test schedule announcements: "Unit test for Class 8 is scheduled for Friday, June 7th. Syllabus: Chapters 5–8. Please ensure your ward is prepared. – [Institute Name]"

Holiday and schedule change alerts: "Dear Parents, the institute will remain closed on Monday, June 2nd due to [Reason]. Regular classes resume Tuesday, June 3rd. – [Institute Name]" Sent to all parents, instantly, from your phone. No WhatsApp group chaos, no missed messages.

Result and report card alerts: "Report cards for the June term assessment are ready for collection. Please visit the administrative office with your ID. Timing: 9 AM – 1 PM. – [Institute Name]"

New batch announcements and admissions: "Admissions open for the new NEET/JEE/CBSE batch starting June 15th. Limited seats. Call [Number] or visit [Address]. – [Institute Name]"

Salons, Spas, and Beauty Clinics (Indiranagar, Koramangala, Jayanagar)

Appointment-based beauty businesses in Bangalore face two chronic problems: no-shows and slow periods. Bulk SMS directly addresses both.

Appointment confirmations and reminders: When a customer books via Instagram DM, phone, or walk-in, an immediate confirmation SMS goes out. A reminder 3 hours before the appointment. No-show rates on appointment-confirmed services drop to under 5% versus 20–30% for unconfirmed bookings.

Slow day promotions: "Today at [Salon Name]: 20% off all hair treatments until 7 PM. Walk-ins welcome. Call 98XXXXXXXX to check availability." Sent at 11 AM on a slow Wednesday. Fills appointment slots that would otherwise be empty.

Seasonal and festival offers: Pre-Diwali skin treatments, monsoon hair care packages, summer bridal packages — align your promotions with the Bangalore lifestyle calendar.

Re-engagement for lapsed clients: "Hi [Name], it's been 6 weeks since your last visit at [Salon]. We have a new treatment you'd love — reply YES for a 10% discount on your next booking." Simple, personal, effective.

Birthday and anniversary messages: Fully automated from your client register — a birthday SMS with a complimentary service or discount goes out automatically on each client's birthday. Zero effort after the initial setup, but consistently rated as the most appreciated communication by customers.

Healthcare Clinics, Physiotherapy Centres, and Diagnostic Labs

Patient communication is a compliance-sensitive area, but within TRAI-approved frameworks, SMS is enormously valuable for Bangalore's healthcare small businesses.

Appointment reminders: "Your appointment with Dr. [Name] is confirmed for [Date] at [Time]. Address: [Address]. Please arrive 10 minutes early with your ID and insurance documents. – [Clinic Name]"

Test report ready alerts: "Your diagnostic reports are ready. Collect from the lab counter or view online at [link]. Report ID: [ID]. – [Lab Name]" Reduces front desk call volume and improves patient experience.

Medication and follow-up reminders: For chronic care patients: "Hi [Name], this is a reminder for your monthly follow-up with Dr. [Name]. Call [Number] to schedule. – [Clinic Name]"

Vaccination and preventive health camp alerts: "Free health check-up camp at [Clinic Name] this Sunday, June 8th. 9 AM – 1 PM. Blood sugar, BP, BMI check. First come, first served. Share with family. – [Clinic Name]"

Payment and insurance follow-up: "Dear [Name], your insurance claim for visit on [Date] is pending document [X]. Please submit at your earliest to avoid reimbursement delay. – [Clinic Name]"

Navigating DLT Compliance Without the Headache — A Plain-English Guide for Small Business Owners

TRAI DLT compliance is something almost every small business owner in Bangalore finds confusing. Let's simplify it.

Why DLT exists: In the early 2020s, Indians were drowning in spam SMS — fake bank alerts, fraudulent investment offers, phishing links. TRAI created the DLT system so every SMS can be traced back to a registered, verified business. This is why you need to register before sending.

What it means for you in practice:

First, you register your business on the DLT platform. This links your PAN, GST, and company name to a verified account. This is a one-time process.

Second, you register your Sender ID — the name your customers see when they receive an SMS from you. "MYSHOP" or "FITCLB" — up to 6 characters. TRAI reviews this to make sure it's business-relevant.

Third, you register your message templates. Every category of message you want to send — "20% off offer", "appointment reminder", "fee due notice" — gets submitted as a template with variable placeholders. TRAI approves these templates before you can use them.

How TechTo makes this manageable:

We do the DLT registration on your behalf. You fill in a simple form on our portal with your business name, GST number, PAN, and preferred sender ID. We handle the submission, track the approval, and notify you when you're live.

For templates, you tell us in plain English what you want to say. Our compliance team converts that into a properly formatted DLT template and submits it. Most small businesses need 3–5 templates: a promotional offer template, an appointment reminder template, a fee reminder template, a generic announcement template, and optionally a festive sale template. We handle all five in a single submission batch.

How long does it take: Typically 2–3 business days for entity and sender ID approval. Template approval follows within 24–48 hours.

What happens if I just skip DLT? Your messages will be blocked at the carrier level after the first few sends. There is no workaround. Every legitimate bulk SMS provider routes through DLT-compliant infrastructure — any provider offering to "bypass" DLT is either routing on grey routes (illegal and unreliable) or straight-up lying to you.

The Easy Web Panel — Designed for Non-Technical Users

TechTo's panel was designed with one principle: if a restaurant owner in Indiranagar who runs the business single-handedly can use it without reading a manual, it's ready. Here's what you get:

Dashboard: At a glance — total credits remaining, messages sent this month, delivery rate, and your last 5 campaigns. Clean. No overwhelming charts.

Contact Management: Groups, import, manual entry, duplicate detection. Add custom fields for any data you want to personalise messages with.

Campaign Creator: Step-by-step wizard. Choose recipients → write message → preview (see how it looks on a phone) → schedule → review → send. Can't accidentally send without reviewing.

Templates: Save your most-used messages as templates. Next time you run a similar campaign, choose the template and edit only what's changed. Saves significant time for recurring campaigns like weekly specials.

Reports: Campaign performance, credit usage history, delivery logs, export to Excel. Simple enough to understand in 30 seconds, detailed enough to find problems.

Settings: Manage sender IDs, manage sub-users (if you have a marketing assistant you want to give access), billing and invoice history, API keys (for Growth plan and above).

Mobile-friendly: The panel works on your phone's browser. Not a native app — a responsive web panel. That means no installation, and it works on any device. You can check delivery reports from your bike shop or approve a campaign from your phone between customer meetings.

The honest nuance: Fast2SMS is the cheapest per-SMS in absolute terms for low volumes, but the panel is more complex, DLT support is self-serve, and credits expire. For a small business owner who values simplicity and support over rock-bottom rates, TechTo's total cost of ownership is lower when you factor in time and DLT assistance.

MSG91 and TextLocal are built primarily for enterprise clients — their onboarding, minimum commitments, and pricing tiers reflect that. They're excellent platforms, but not optimized for a 1,000-customer Bangalore boutique or a 3-outlet restaurant chain.

Real Results from Bangalore Small Businesses Using TechTo

These are accounts compiled from client feedback over 2025–2026:

Restaurant, HSR Layout (120-seat dine-in): Started with the ₹500 starter pack to send weekly Friday evening specials to 1,800 customers. Average open and visit rate for SMS-sent offers: 12% same-day visits (versus 2% for Instagram posts). Monthly SMS cost: ₹180. Estimated additional monthly revenue attributable to SMS campaigns: ₹40,000–60,000 based on average table spend.

Yoga studio, JP Nagar (two branches, 300 members): Membership renewal reminders via TechTo's automated scheduling reduced lapsed membership rate from 28% per quarter to 9%. At ₹2,500 average membership value, recovering 50 additional renewals per quarter = ₹1.25 lakh per quarter recovered. Monthly SMS cost: ₹320.

Real estate agency, Yelahanka (solo agent, residential plots): Implemented immediate lead response SMS triggered within 2 minutes of MagicBricks enquiry. Lead-to-site-visit conversion improved from 8% to 23% over 3 months. Monthly SMS spend: ₹650. One additional site visit converted = commission revenue of ₹35,000–80,000.

Coaching centre, Rajajinagar (Class 5–12, 420 students): Fee reminder SMS sequence reduced outstanding fees on due date from ₹4.2 lakh average to ₹1.1 lakh — meaning 74% more fees collected on time. Monthly SMS cost: ₹380.

Frequently Asked Questions for Small Business Owners

Q: I have 500 customer numbers saved in my phone. Can I export them and use them? Mostly yes, with a caveat. Numbers saved in your contacts can be exported to a Google Sheet or Excel file, which you then upload to TechTo. However, under TRAI regulations, you can only send commercial SMS to numbers where the customer has given consent. For your existing customers who've transacted with you, consent is implied by the business relationship. For numbers you've collected from events or third parties without explicit consent, you need an opt-in process before sending promotional SMS. For transactional SMS (appointment confirmations, order updates) the rules are more flexible.

Q: Can I get a custom sender ID like my shop name? Yes — that's what sender ID registration is. You choose up to a 6-character code that represents your business: MYBKRY, FITCLB, RSTONE, SCHOOL — whatever fits. Customers see this name instead of a number, which builds trust and recognition. Sender IDs are approved by TRAI, typically within 24–48 hours, and TechTo handles the submission for you.

Q: What if someone asks to be removed from my SMS list? TRAI requires you to honor opt-out requests. When a customer replies "STOP" or "UNSUBSCRIBE" to your SMS, TechTo automatically adds them to your DNC (Do Not Contact) list and excludes them from all future campaigns. This is automatic and compliant — you don't need to manage it manually.

Q: I only need SMS 2–3 times a month. Is there still a minimum? No minimum send frequency. No monthly subscription. Buy credits when you need them, send when you want. If you have a seasonal business (festival market, summer camp, etc.) that only needs SMS for 3 months a year — that works perfectly. Your credits just sit unused for the other 9 months and are there when you need them.

Q: Can I send to customers who have registered on the DND (Do Not Disturb) registry? It depends on the message type. Promotional SMS (offers, discounts, marketing) cannot be delivered to DND-registered numbers — this is a TRAI rule that no provider can override. However, transactional SMS (appointment confirmations, payment receipts, delivery updates, OTPs) can be delivered to DND numbers because they're service communications the customer needs. When you build your campaigns, choosing the correct route (promotional vs transactional) ensures the right messages reach the right numbers.

Q: What happens if my SMS isn't delivered? Do I get a credit refund? Yes. Credits are deducted only for messages that are successfully submitted to the carrier network. If a message fails before submission (invalid number format, for example), no credit is deducted. For messages that are submitted but fail at the carrier level (invalid/out-of-service number), most failures result in a credit return — check specific conditions in our refund policy.

Q: My phone number is my business contact. Can I also use it to send bulk SMS? Bulk SMS doesn't work from individual phone numbers — it works from registered sender IDs through TechTo's platform. Your personal or business mobile number is separate from your TechTo sender ID. The sender ID is the name customers see (like "MYBKRY"), not a phone number. This actually looks more professional — "MYBKRY" appearing in a customer's SMS inbox is more recognizable than an unknown +91 number.

Q: How many SMS can I send at once? On the Growth plan and above, there's no practical limit — you can send to your entire database in a single campaign. On Starter and Basic plans, single campaigns are limited to 50,000 recipients (more than enough for any small business). If you have a database larger than 50,000 contacts, you're well past the size where our Growth plan makes sense.

Q: Can someone else (my manager or marketing assistant) access the account? Yes. TechTo supports multi-user access with role-based permissions. You can add your marketing assistant as a "Campaign Manager" who can create and send campaigns but cannot access billing or export contact data. Good for delegating day-to-day SMS management without sharing your admin credentials.

Starting Today — Your 30-Day Quick Win Plan

If you're a Bangalore small business owner starting with bulk SMS for the first time, here's a simple 30-day plan to see results quickly:

Week 1: Create account, import your contact list, let TechTo handle DLT registration. Send a test campaign to your own number and a few trusted contacts to preview how it looks.

Week 2: Send your first real campaign — keep it simple. A single offer, clear CTA, under 160 characters. Target your full list or a specific segment (new customers only, or customers who haven't visited in 30 days).

Week 3: Check your delivery report. Look at the delivered percentage, and if you included a URL, check your link click rate. Based on response (walk-ins, calls, orders), estimate the return on your ₹500 spend.

Week 4: Set up at least one automated campaign — a membership/booking/fee reminder sequence so that recurring revenue protection works on autopilot.

By Day 30, you'll have a clear view of what SMS does for your specific business — and whether scaling up makes financial sense.
